WHO WE ARE
MEET CARDINALIS INTERNATIONAL
Cardinalis International LLC facilitates cross-border trade and project transactions. It reveals opportunities, conducts research, links together participants, coordinates interactions, and drives the process forward – all the way to closing.
Special focus is naturally given to financing, which is the bloodline of any business undertaking. But our contribution goes above and beyond this one dimension. We step forward as the overall project manager by adding the organizational force that is often missing in complex initiatives.

SERVICES
Cardinalis International usually acts as an advisor, working for exporters and suppliers, foreign importers, investors, and financial institutions, as the case may be.
Advisory scope typically includes putting together a financial package for the project. But it may also involve other critical tasks, such as feasibility study, sourcing suppliers, identifying off-takers, coordinating with legal teams and technical specialists, etc. In certain situations, Cardinalis takes on the task of consolidating multi-supplier contracts and acts as the exporter of record. |
In all cases, we seek to fully utilize respective programs offered by export credit agencies and investment support organizations. We maintain close relations with the Export-Import Bank of the U.S., OPIC, U.S. Department of Agriculture, IFC, and many other national and international institutions.
Our services are compensated through a combination of retainer and success fee. These elements are negotiated in conjunction with the nature of the project and our expected role. While we are typically retained by one of the parties, the bulk of our commercial result is linked to the ultimate success of the entire project and, therefore, all of its various participants. |
ACTIVITIES
Cardinalis International is currently working on opportunities in several countries in Asia and former Soviet Union region. These economies typically require modern equipment and technologies, agricultural raw materials, and franchise solutions. Reversely, there is a need to market their products - such as manufactured goods, chemicals and commodities – to international buyers.
|
Cardinalis International is assisting its clients in a number of critical areas:
Arranging financing: overall structuring, interfacing with relevant government credit support agencies (primarily in the U.S., but not exclusively), negotiations with commercial lenders, bringing in direct financial investors, etc.
Sourcing relevant equipment and goods: locating manufacturers and suppliers, aggregating diverse inputs, coordinating deliveries, etc. |
Promoting product sales: identifying promising market niches and channels, pursuing contractual arrangements with off-takers, etc.
Project management: mobilizing feasibility assessments and due diligence, engagement of service providers, ongoing coordination of plans and actions, mutual reporting, etc. |
“What I especially liked about Vadim’s approach is that he is fully self-driven. It was a complex project in Kazakhstan, with numerous moving parts and often confusing turns of events. He would stand up, sort out the options, and lay out the best solution. Because he knows how.”
- George B. | Exporter of Refinery Equipment & International Investor “As a relatively narrow-focus specialist who spent all of his life in a particular industry, I was pleasantly surprised by Lynne’s ability to very quickly learn the nuts and bolts - to the extent of leading specialized discussions rather than following them. Equally impressive is her skill for regrouping and finding a new course of action in the face of shifting commercial conditions and regulations.” - Frank C. | Industry Expert

CLIENT STATEMENTS“Managing a jumbo project is more of an art than a craft. We were exploring a major acquisition in Europe. Multiple teams were working in parallel, charged to produce due diligence reports, engineering studies, financial projections, term sheets for financing, legal contracts, etc. etc. Mr. Udalov not just made it all work, but clearly enjoyed the ride. In the end, we decided to pull out of the deal, but it was a fully calculated decision – one that we would not have been able to make otherwise.”
- Nicholas F. | Top Manager of an International Industrial Group |
“Lynne and Vadim present a rare combination of creativity and persistence. They are able to jump at the opportunity, even at the 12th hour, find a realistic way forward, keep pushing, and implement a professional solution involving government export financing whenever possible. This ability led to their success – and that of their clients – in the various deals that I have seen them pursue and close.”
- Douglas F. | Government Official “We finally reached markets that were earlier off limits due to their underdeveloped banking system and limited hard currency. Once Lynne took the lead and lined up qualified banks under the USDA’s Commodity Credit Program, the guarantees made financing of the sales more than possible." - Johann S. | Commodity Supplier
